A search warrant is being carried out at a Head Hunters gang pad in Auckland as police try to find the body of missing teenager Jayden Mamfredos-Nair.
Mamfredos-Nair, 19, was reported missing from the Auckland suburb of Massey on the evening of April 21. Police are treating his disappearance as a homicide.
On Thursday Waitematā CIB detective inspector Callum McNeill said investigations are continuing and a search warrant will be carried out in Dairy Flat.
Newshub cameras captured armed police blocking off Young Access Road.
Detective inspector McNeill said police are "committed to bringing a resolution" to the teen's family.
"New information had led the investigation team to an address on Young Access Road, which is currently occupied by members of the Headhunters gang," he said.
"There will be an increased number of police in the Dairy Flat area while this search warrant is conducted.
"However, we can confirm there is no risk to the public in relation to this."
McNeill said police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
"It has now been almost six months since Jayden was reported missing and we know that there are people in our community who know what happened to him.
"As time goes on and allegiances change, we urge those with information to come forward anonymously.
"It's time to tell us where he is so he can be returned to his grieving whānau. The investigation team continue to work long hours to resolve this crime and bring Jayden home.
"We are confident of making arrests in the near future," he added.
If you have information on Jayden's whereabouts, please contact police's 105 number and reference Operation Violin.
