A chaotic brawl between two men at an Auckland intersection during the weekend has been caught on dashcam footage.
The video of the dramatic fight, posted online, showed several cars pulling up to a set of traffic lights at the intersection of Ward and Clark Sts in the Auckland suburb of New Lynn.
In the footage, one of the vehicles - a black hatchback - is seen overtaking and pulling in front of the cars waiting at the lights, blocking the intersection.
Another person in a car at the lights then gets out of his vehicle. At the same time, the man in the hatchback exits his car and approaches the man waiting at the lights.
The men proceed to punch and kick each other for about 20 seconds, before they both return to their vehicles and speed off.
It is unclear what happened prior to the footage that may have triggered the fight.
The fight was reported to the police.
"Police can confirm we received a report of someone witnessing a disorder between two parties in New Lynn on Sunday evening," a spokesperson told Newshub.
"At this stage, police have not received a report from those involved and no further action has been required."
