Firefighters have extinguished a blaze at a south Auckland townhouse complex overnight.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) said five crews attended the fire which engulfed multiple properties in the suburb of Favona at just after 8:30pm on Sunday evening.
A FENZ spokesperson said two cars were also damaged by the flames.
Ambulances were on standby, however, all residents were evacuated safely, with no reports of any injuries.
A scene guard remains in place, with a fire investigator to return to the properties on Monday morning to determine the cause.
