A man who has been missing for a week in Waikato has been found dead, police say.
David Huggan was last seen alive in the Mt Pirongia area on December 12. His bright blue, Mitsubishi Triton ute was left at the top of Sainsbury Road.
His disappearance sparked an extensive search and rescue operation and police said on Wednesday his body was discovered by a member of Search and Rescue late last week.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and will be referred to the Coroner.
"Our thoughts are with their family and friends at this time," police said.
