Motorists on the east coast of the North Island could face disruptions after parts of a major state highway was shut due to rockfall.
Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency said State Highway 2 between Putorino and Kotemaori is closed because of a slip.
"Please avoid this area or delay your journey if possible."
A photo provided to Newshub shows the slip covering the entire highway with huge rocks.
