A person has died following a single-vehicle crash in the Bay of Plenty.
Police were called to the crash shortly after 5:30am Monday on Clarke Road, Te Puna.
The road is closed on Clarke Road/SH2 and Clarke Road/Te Puna Station Road while emergency services attend the crash.
People are advised to avoid the area.
The Serious Crash Unit is at the scene and a police investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
