One person has died after a crash on the West Coast overnight, bringing the holiday road toll to 10.
Police confirmed on Friday morning a person died after a serious single-vehicle collision on SH69 in Inangahua.
Police were notified of the crash at 12:43am Friday.
The road will remain closed for some time this morning and motorists are asked to avoid the area, police said.
