Police say the search for two people who are missing after a utility-terrain vehicle accident in the Far North on Friday evening has resumed.
Police said emergency services were called to Fern Flat Rd in Peria after a utility-terrain vehicle rolled into a swimming hole on the swollen Waikainga Stream.
Four of the six on board were able to make it out of the water and they have been taken to hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
Two people are still missing and police said the search for them resumed on Saturday.
