A dashcam has captured the terrifying moment two cars collided, causing one to roll across a motorway in Auckland.
The footage shows a white car moving into the left lane, hitting a silver car side-on. The collision causes the silver car to flip twice as it tumbles across the highway, nearly missing a car in the far lane.
The owners of the dashcam can be heard gasping as the crash took place.
Police said officers responded to reports of a four-vehicle crash on the Northwestern Motorway (SH16) at 5:07pm Saturday.
"Looks like one person received moderate injuries. The road remained open with traffic flowing through other lanes," a police spokesperson said.
