A person has been arrested and charged over the death of Christchurch man David Bridgwater.
The arrest comes exactly three weeks after he was found dead in the suburb of Aranui.
According to the NZ Herald, Bridgwater's car was still turned on when he was found dead on nearby Carisbrooke St on January 4.
On Thursday, police said a 51-year-old woman had been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
Det Snr Sgt Colin Baillie said she was due to appear in the Christchurch District Court on Thursday.
Investigations into Bridgwater's death were continuing, he said.
Anyone with information was urged to contact police on 105 and reference 'Operation Walter'.
