Police have pulled over a young driver after spotting him driving his family around Dunedin's suburb of Mosgiel.
An officer driving on the road spotted the child driving and pulled the vehicle over at 6:20pm on Tuesday.
"A 9-year-old driver was stopped while driving his family on Bush Road, Dunedin," Senior Sergeant Anthony Bond told Newshub.
Infringement notices for an expired WOF and Registration were issued at the scene.
A report of concern has been made to Oranga Tamariki.
