A house in west Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland has been destroyed by fire on Friday afternoon.
Fire and Emergency responded to several calls of a Glen Eden home on fire at 3:15pm, a spokesperson told Newshub.
The blaze was well-involved by the time fire crews arrived, and a second alarm was raised.
At the fire's peak, five trucks were dousing the flames.
The fire reportedly started in the basement.
Three fire trucks are still on the scene as crews dampen down hotspots.
There is no risk to the public, Fire and Emergency said.
