One person has died after a crash in Mossburn, Southland yesterday.
Emergency services were called the single-vehicle crash on the Wreys Bush–Mossburn Road shortly after 5pm Monday.
The person was transported to Dunedin Hospital with serious injuries but sadly they died in hospital later that evening, police said.
Two other people have been transported to Southland Hospital with minor injuries.
"Police are providing support to the victim's family and our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time," a police spokesperson said.
