Police are investigating after a person was found dead at a rural property in Tākaka.
The body was found on Pigville Rd about 4pm on Tuesday, police said in a statement.
The person is yet to be identified.
Police will remain at the scene overnight and a post-mortem examination will be completed in the next few days.
