One person has been seriously injured after a car crashed into a south Auckland property on Wednesday night.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the two-vehicle crash on Murphys Road in Auckland's Flat Bush just after 10pm.
One car was seen in the front yard of the property after colliding with a second vehicle on the road.
The vehicle on the property was crushed up against a fence, while the one on the street had a smashed front.
"Police are making enquiries following a serious crash in Flat Bush on Wednesday evening," a spokesperson said.
"One person was transported to hospital with serious injuries."
Nearby residents were on the footpath watching as emergency services arrived at the scene.
One person was seen being taken away on a stretcher by several crew members.
"The Serious Crash Unit was notified and an investigation into the circumstances remains ongoing."
Fire and Emergency NZ (FENZ) and St John were also at the scene.
