Fire crews have contained a large fire at a scrap metal yard in south Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland on Wednesday afternoon.
The blaze at National Steel on Hobill Ave, Wiri broke out at about 2pm and was contained about 90 minutes later.
A witness told Newshub earlier she was able to see the blaze out of her office window in Manukau about 1km away.
