A major raid is underway on a rural road in Auckland's Clevedon on Wednesday morning.
Creightons Road is closed to the public while the emergency operation is underway.
Reports on community Facebook pages suggest all access has been cut off to the road.
Armed police are at the scene as more officers continue to show up.
"There is a pre-planned search warrant ongoing in the area," a police spokesperson told Newshub.
"It's still ongoing, so we can't comment further at this stage."
Creightons Road is in a rural area of Clevedon, and is mostly surrounded by farmland.
The Police Eagle Helicopter is circling the area.
More than three Fire and Emergency NZ (FENZ) trucks are also at the scene.
A St John response vehicle is also standing by.
