Police have released the names of the victims killed in a serious crash last month in Pūkaki, Canterbury.
Four people died after the crash on State Highway 8 on March 30.
The victims have been named as Gavin James William Beere, 85, Megat Ashman Aqif Megat Irman Jefni, 21, Wan Adlina Alisa, 20, and Phillip Wayne Woodham, aged 71.
Woodham was from Ashburton, and the three other victims were from Canterbury.
"Police extend our condolences to their family and friends at this difficult time," a police spokesperson said.
The crash involved two vehicles and a motorcycle and happened between Hayman Road and Tekapo Canal Road.
"Several of the injured were trapped in the wreckage and needed to be cut out," a police spokesperson said at the time.
Police described the crash as "incredibly confronting".
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
