Video footage has emerged of two people who allegedly kidnapped a woman being arrested at an Auckland bar.
The pair were due to appear in court on Thursday, charged in relation to the Tuesday night kidnapping in the North Shore suburb of Beach Haven.
CCTV footage showed the pair being arrested at ex-Mayoral candidate Leo Molloy's Headquarters bar in central Auckland on Wednesday afternoon.
Many officers responded to the North Shore on Tuesday night after a woman was forced into a car and a gunshot was heard.
The victim was found with injuries in Greenhithe a short time later.
A 32-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were due to appear in the North Shore District Court on Thursday morning.
