No one won Wednesday night's whopping $33 million Powerball jackpot - it has rolled over again.

The winning numbers were: 10, 27, 8, 16, 35, 29, with the bonus ball 19 and the Powerball 3.

As nobody won the Powerball prize tonight, players will get a chance at snagging an even bigger jackpot on Saturday: a humongous $38 million.

Four lucky players from Drury, Lower Hutt, Wellington and Ōamaru will each take home $250,000 after winning Wednesday night's First Division.

On top of that, two Strike players from Upper Hutt and the West Coast will be laughing their way to the bank after winning $150,000 each in Strike Four.

Powerball has been jackpotting since a "modest" family from Pōneke/Wellington won $30m in Powerball's First Division in mid-April.

"We really didn't think it was real - why would you? We were so shocked and just kept staring at each other saying 'what?' 'How?'," said the dad.

That was the biggest amount won by a single ticket since August last year, when a Paraparaumu local won $37m.

The town was buzzing upon hearing the news, with locals trying to guess who the winner might have been - but the multi-millionaire never revealed their identity.
