A manhunt is underway for a group of offenders who robbed a store in a town north of Auckland on Friday morning.
The group, armed with weapons, stormed a superette on Rodney St in Wellsford just after 6am.
Police said the offenders made verbal threats to staff before fleeing with multiple items.
Anyone with information is being urged to get in touch with the police.
"The person who was in the premises at the time is being provided with support by police," a spokesperson said.
