One person has died in a crash in Mangōnui, Northland on Sunday night.
Emergency services responded to a report that a vehicle had crashed into a ditch on State Highway 10 just after 10pm.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into how the crash unfolded is ongoing.
