One dead in single-vehicle crash in Glendene, west Auckland

One person has died following a crash in the west Auckland suburb of Glendene on Wednesday. 

The single-vehicle crash on Phelps Pl was reported to police just before 3pm. 

One person died at the scene, police said in an update on Thursday morning. 

"Police extend our condolences to their loved ones at this time," the statement said. 

"The Serious Crash Unit attended and enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing."
