A man has been found dead near Queens Park in Invercargill.
Police were called to the scene, near the intersection of Sydney and St Andrew streets, at 9:25am on Sunday.
"A scene examination has been completed today, with the death being treated as unexplained," a statement said.
A post-mortem will be completed on Tuesday.
