Police manhunt underway for Quaid Clements in New Plymouth, police warned not to approach

A police manhunt is underway in New Plymouth for a man with a warrant to his arrest.  

Quaid Clements, 33, is believed to be in the New Plymouth District.  

Police issued an appeal to find the man on Monday morning and urged the public to report any sightings.  

The man has dark hair and a large tattoo across the bottom half of his face that appears to read 'Uru Taha'. 

Uru Taha (also known as 'West Side') is a gang in Taranaki. 

"If anyone sees him, they are advised not to approach him," a police spokesperson said.  

Sightings can be reported via 111, referencing file number 240426/6478.
