Police have received new historic complaints against Mama Hooch rapists Roberto and Danny Jaz.
The brothers were convicted last year of a total of 69 sex crimes, including rape and drugging charges, against dozens of women.
They worked at their father Michael Jaz's bar Mama Hooch and restaurant Venuti. They used these venues to target young female customers and staff, spiking their drinks and then often sexually assaulting or raping them.
On Monday, police revealed since the trial into the investigation dubbed 'Operation Sinatra', they have received three complaints relating to "historic incidents" at Mama Hooch.
"Police will not comment on the specifics of the complaints at this time, however, we can confirm Police are continuing to investigate," a police spokesperson told Newshub.
In August 2023, Danny and Roberto were sentenced to 16.5 years and 17 years imprisonment, respectively.
A third man, whose name is suppressed, also stood trial, however, was cleared of all but a minor drug supply charge. A fourth man, who also has name suppression, was separately trialled and acquitted of sexually violating a Mama Hooch patron.
