Five people have been injured after a serious crash in Auckland's Waterview Tunnel on Saturday.
The southbound tunnel was closed to traffic while emergency services responded and police carried out a serious crash investigation.
The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) warned motorists of the crash at around 3:30pm.
"Due to a crash, the Waterview Tunnel is now closed to southbound traffic," it posted to Facebook.
"Please use an alternative route at this time or expect delays in and around the SH16/SH20 interchange as congestion has developed.
"The tunnel remains open to northbound traffic."
Then in an update at 5:15pm, the NZTA said the tunnel has now fully reopened.

A spokesperson from Hato Hone St John told Newshub they responded to the crash with two ambulances and a manager.
Paramedics treated five people, two of whom are in a serious condition and were taken to Auckland City Hospital.
The other three received minor injuries and were treated at the scene, the spokesperson said.
