Tempers erupted outside an Auckland court as a former Destiny Church member appeared facing indecent assault charges.
The 29-year-old man appeared in Manukau District Court on Wednesday morning, in front of Judge David Cameron.
The man, who has interim name suppression, is facing multiple charges of indecent assault against two victims.
He sat quietly in the dock during his first court appearance, but after he left the courtroom a young man could be heard shouting at him.
The man was remanded on bail and will next appear in court on 24 June.
