A magnitude 6.2 earthquake has struck the Kermadec Islands region northeast of New Zealand.
The quake struck at 3:54am and was 19.6km deep.
There was no tsunami threat from the quake.
Three other quakes measuring between magnitude 4.4 and 5 have struck the Pacific region in the past 24 hours.
