A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital in a critical condition as police respond to a crash near Manawatū on Sunday afternoon.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Cameron Line and Waughs Road, Aorangi at around 12:20pm.
A police spokesperson said the crash involved a car and motorcyclist.
The road is blocked and diversions remain in place at the scene.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use an alternative route where possible.
