A person has died after a crash in South Wairarapa this morning.
Emergency services raced to Wards Line, Morison Bush, shortly after 4:30am.
Police have confirmed the driver was the only person in the car and they died at the scene.
Fire and Emergency responded but a spokesperson said no one had to be cut from the vehicle and instead crews provided "scene protection".
Ward Line will remain closed while the Serious Crash Unit investigates.
