Search and Rescue teams and drone used in search for woman missing in Waikato

Search and Rescue teams, assisted by a drone, are searching for a woman who has gone missing in Waikato.  

Pauline, 67, has been missing since last night, when she is believed to have driven her 2016 Mazda 3 Hatchback to the Wairere Falls track near Te Aroha. 

In a post to social media, Police say they received the missing persons report around 7:30pm and responded along with LandSAR.  

"Since then Police SAR have continued to search the area with assistance of LandSAR, and a drone is due to be deployed today." 

They are asking for anyone who saw Pauline on the Wairere Falls track, picked up her jacket or saw her vehicle before 8pm on Sunday get in touch.

"Police and her family have concerns for her wellbeing, and we continue to appeal for information." 

Police are encouraging anyone with information to call 111 immediately and reference the event number P059072868.
