Two people have been injured, one seriously, after crashing into a shopping centre in Waikato.
A photo shared on social media, which has since been removed, showed emergency services in front of a car which appeared to have driven into a shopping centre in Hamilton.
A police spokesperson told Newshub it looked to be a single-vehicle crash on Tuhikaramea Rd, reported just after 1pm on Wednesday.
Hato Hone St John said the driver and a passenger were assessed, and one person was taken to Waikato Hospital in a serious condition. The other was taken to a nearby medical centre in a minor condition.
They were notified of the incident at 1:04 pm and responded with three ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and an operations manager.
