John Key's son, Max, has uploaded a video online, sharing his "journey" with girlfriend Amelia Finlayson.
The "summer paradise" video was filmed in Hawaii and New Zealand.
"A journey into myself and [Amelia Finlayson's] teenage years, filmed over the last few months," Max wrote alongside the video.
Prime Minister John Key also made an appearance.
"I was standing there looking out and next thing the camera was pointing at me," he told TV3's Paul Henry programme today.
"I had to drive the car because [Max] wanted a particular shot… and because he's under 21, or whatever the rental car company allows."
Mr Key says his son was "just having a bit of fun, for goodness sake".
