The Government's Tax Working Group will report back on Thursday, with the issue of the controversial Capital Gains Tax (CGT) expected to be a big talking point.
On Tuesday, a Newshub-Reid Research poll revealed 54 percent of voters don't want a CGT to be implemented, while 32 percent said they do, and 14 percent said they didn't know.
Newshub's Political Editor Tova O'Brien spoke to The AM Show's Duncan Garner on Wednesday about the potential nightmare the Government may have selling a CGT to the public, and the issue of getting New Zealand First leader Winston Peters on board.
They also spoke about the relationship between New Zealand and China, which has been under the spotlight over the last week.
