A campaign against assisted dying is being launched in the wake of the End of Life Choice Bill.
#DefendNZ is a series of documentaries featuring people with a terminal illness or disability.
Creative director Henoch Kloosterboer says it is about expanding the conversation.
"A lot of the conversation around the Bill has been quite idealistic and theoretical, but what we're really needing to hear from are the people that will actually be affected by this."
Former politician Dame Tariana Turia is also featuring in the series.
Mr Kloosterboer says they have a lot of concerns with ACT MP David Seymour's End of Life Choice Bill, which is currently with the justice select committee after passing its first reading in 2017.
"The safeguards just aren't there, and we're hearing that from people all over the country - people who have themselves got disabilities or who have terminal illness. We're also hearing that from experts."
Episodes will be released in the coming weeks.
