Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters has opened up about his life outside of the Beehive, and revealed he has a more sensitive side.
The NZ First Leader appeared on The Project and was set the task of answering three rapid-fire questions about his personal life and passions.
He revealed his love for his dog Beau, saying "dogs are fantastic, as whenever they see you they make you feel like the best thing in the world," audibly melting hearts in the crowd.
But he also spoke about how he calms down and "winds down the wild horse of worry" after a long day in Parliament.
