September 13:
Writ Day - this is when the Governor-General officially directs the Electoral Commission to hold the election on October 17
September 15:
The Hui's Tāmaki Makaurau seat debate, 8pm to 9pm*
September 16:
Publication of the Pre-Election Economic and Fiscal Update (PREFU)
The Hui's Hauraki-Waikato seat debate, 8pm to 9pm*
September 17:
Deadline for party secretaries to get bulk nomination schedules and party lists to the Electoral Commission
September 18:
Deadline for electorate candidates' individual nominations
September 19:
Newshub Nation presents Battlegrounds - a special programme at 9:30am dedicated to some of the most hotly-contested electorates in the country, featuring a debate between the key Northland Candidates, on location in the Bay of Islands
September 22:

As the country wakes to make sense of its election result, from 10am Newshub Nation presents its live, extended 90-minute post-election special, hosted by Simon Shepherd and Tova O'Brien.
Three's The Hui will also deliver an hour-long post-election special from 9am

October 30: Preliminary referendum results released
November 6: Official election and referendum results released.
