Chlöe Swarbrick is celebrating a new addition to her family after her little sister gave birth.
The Green Party MP shared a heartwarming photo to social media showing her in Auckland City Hospital with her sister Grace and new baby Mia.
"My baby sister had a baby. Mia started breathing heartily before she was out the womb, so she wore a lil Darth Vader mask for the first 36 hours before taking on the world," Swarbrick wrote.
"Proud to say she somehow inherited my bent pinky toe. I love you Grace, Bailey and Mia. Belated rā whānau, pēpi."
"Congratulations Aunty Chlöe - you and your whānau must be so chuffed!" one person wrote in response to the picture.
"Aww congratulations Aunty Chloe. You will be an awesome aunt and role model to this little girl," another said.
Swarbrick, 26, was re-elected to Parliament in the recent 2020 election, taking out the Auckland Central seat.
