Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is holding her weekly post-Cabinet press conference at the Beehive in Wellington.
The Prime Minister will announce Cabinet's response to the escalating situation in Afghanistan, where the extremist Taliban military organisation has taken the capital city Kabul.
Cabinet has been considering giving a "pathway" to some Afghans who have helped New Zealand in the past on Government-led projects.
