Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is holding her weekly post-Cabinet press conference at the Beehive in Wellington.
She is expected to talk about the COVID-19 Omicron outbreak as New Zealand faces its fifth day in a row of record daily cases.
Ardern told AM on Monday that Cabinet was set to discuss the movement to phase 2 of the Omicron plan. She said businesses could plan for the move within days.
