Jacinda Ardern says she's feeling "very humble and feeling very privileged to be here" as mourners gather for Queen Elizabeth's funeral.
Around 2000 family members, world leaders, politicians and monarchs from other countries are expected to attend Her Majesty's funeral inside Westminster Abbey today at 10pm (NZ time).
Among them is a delegation from New Zealand including the Prime Minister, who spoke to Newshub National Correspondent Patrick Gower on Monday night (NZ time).
"This is a moment in time where after decades of service of the queen being here for us, this is a chance for people now to be there for her and just the sheer display is really humbling and quite overwhelming," Ardern said.
Earlier King Charles and his wife hosted a reception for world leaders, which Ardern attended.
"There was that opportunity [to speak to King Charles] but my observation was there were a number of people who haven't had a moment at all. That was their opportunity," she said.
"We did take an opportunity to speak with the Queen Consort Camilla and it was lovely to touch base."
