Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and "one-time arrogant prick" ACT Party leader David Seymour are putting aside their differences to raise money for charity.
On Thursday, the pair signed the "one of a kind" transcript from Tuesday's Parliament sitting, where the Prime Minister was caught calling Seymour an "arrogant prick" on a hot mic.
The signed transcript has been placed in a white frame for auction.
The money raised from the auction will go to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
"We wanted to be able to say that 'we're helping pricks everywhere' and the prostate is about as close as we could get," Seymour told Newshub.
Seymour said he and Ardern came up with the idea at Parliament's annual press gallery Christmas function.
"We managed to have a laugh about it hatched a plan to raise some money for a good cause."
The "arrogant prick" comment by Ardern caught the attention of the world's media, with the BBC, Guardian, Daily Mail and even Cosmopolitan magazine reporting on the rare slip from the Prime Minister.
It was, however, "just the Kiwi way" to build a bridge and move on, Seymour told AM Early on Thursday.
"It's been a helluva three years, everyone's tired - the last thing you need is more bickering among politicians so it wouldn't really be helping anyone," he said.
Ardern issued a formal apology for her comments in Parliament on Wednesday.
The signed transcript is listed on TradeMe.
