The attention of the nation has quickly turned to who will be its new leader after Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern's shock resignation.
Ardern stepped down on Thursday saying she has given it her all but doesn't have "enough in the tank" for another term.
The Prime Minister will leave the top job by February 7. Ardern's resignation means the Party must choose a new leader. The Labour Party caucus will meet on Sunday to pick its new leader and Aotearoa's next Prime Minister.
The most obvious contender for the role is Finance Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Grant Robertson but he has already ruled himself out.
