The Automobile Association (AA) is backing the Government's plan to boost the country's infrastructure in electric vehicle charging.
Michael Wood, the Transport Minister, has announced plans to take the country's charging network to another level by building hubs along state highways.
The Government wants a charging facility every 150km along the state highway network and a charger in every small town with a population of more than 2000.
AA principal policy advisor Terry Collins said the association had been pushing this for several years.
