Te Aka Whai Ora, the Māori Health Authority, reached its first anniversary on Saturday.
Established to lead and monitor transformational change in the way the entire health system responds to the health and wellbeing of whanau Māori, it is a political target for derision and potential disestablishment after this year's election.
