The National Party has just had to paper over another crack in its tax policy.
All day the National party has been pointing people to its online tax calculator, it's basically a tool where punch in your income, your partners', how much Super you get and, here was the problem, your childcare costs.
But there was nothing defining that, no question on the age of the children.
The problem with that is National's childcare rebate is only for under 5s in Early Childhood Education.
Obviously that is not the only form of childcare costs a family might have so without an age test the calculator may have been misleading people into thinking they'd get that rebate when they won't.
But following Newshub's questions about it on Thursday evening, National has fixed the calculator, explicitly adding the words: Early Childhood Education costs.
