ACT leader David Seymour won't change his tone or rhetoric if he becomes deputy Prime Minister after October 14.
The outspoken - and often controversial - political party leader says shutting down anyone saying anything that could be misinterpreted as offensive could stymy debate in New Zealand.
Speaking to Newshub, Seymour also revealed the Labour politician that kickstarted his political career, how his current reading material could prepare him for potential coalition negotiations, and what happened during a recent encounter with dolphins.
As part of a series of interviews with political party leaders, Newshub political reporter Jamie Ensor visited Seymour's garage to see him change the oil on his hand-built car - and learn how he plans to change Government.
