The Greens' co-leader Marama Davidson hadn't knitted in "decades" until Newshub rocked up for an on-camera interview.
"I have actually never faced this level of political pressure before to be honest," Davidson joked.
During the interview, Davidson speaks about the sexism she's experienced as co-leader, how she balances her big job with her big family, her past life as an aerobics instructor, and why she is a ruru.
As part of a series of interviews with political party leaders, Newshub political reporter - and master knitter - Lloyd Burr sat down with Davidson to get to know her better.
