At least 1000 protesters have made their way down Auckland's Queen St, chanting, singing and waving Māori flags and banners.
They are among thousands around the country demonstrating on Thursday in protest of the Government's Budget, which is released at 2pm.
Māori wardens led the large gathering from Aotea Square to Britomart, pausing for a haka along the way.
